I wanted to express my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you who welcomed me so warmly and supported me over the past couple of months. Jackson let me know this past Monday that he was done fighting. I respected his wishes and let him go that night. My heart is broken but I know from reading all your wonderful stories that it will heal in time. Something wonderful happened on Tuesday morning. One of my many nicknames for Jack was "Big Bud". I went into the backyard Tuesday morning and my still dormant lilac bush had one big beautiful bud on it. My Big Bud sent me a big bud.
I'm sorry that I haven't been in contact very often lately, I was trying to make the most of the time I had left with him. I did read your posts, just didn't have the energy to jump in.
To all the new members, I'm so sorry that you are fighting this battle but you couldn't find a nicer group of people to have on your side. They will love your "babies" like their own and take good care of you. They tirelessly offer support and answer questions.
To all those who supported me and offered encouragement, I don't even have words to express how much that has meant to me. I was able to communicate things to the group that I couldn't say to my family and that was invaluable. I hope to be able to reciprocate in the near future when I'm not feeling quite so raw.
Please know that I pray for all of you and all your babies every day and I hope you keep fighting the beast and win...there are success stories out there too so never give up hope.
Love & Light to you all,
Lynna, Jewel and Angel boy Jackson
