Re: [CanineCancer] Re: Newbie needs ideas/support



I realized after I posted that I may have been a little misleading on the veggies.  It's my understanding, although not confirmed by the vet or oncologist, that dogs have trouble digesting veggies unless they are cooked well or ground up (I food process mine) so that the tough fibers are broken down a bit. SO - you might want to cook those veggies to allow them to be easily digested.  To save time maybe you could cook some, freeze them in an ice tray, and pop out a cube or two a day!
