I was not not surprised when I received the call from the vet saying that Chester is not strong enough to take the 6th chemo because of weight loss & loss of appetite.
It is good & bad news ....the good news is that all the blood work came back ok...kidney, liver function, cbc count etc. It was a relief.
The bad news is that Chester has a fever. The vet said this may be the cause of him not eating and the cause for the fever may be a side reaction from the Primor (antibiotic).
I sure hope the vet is right ......the plan is to stop taking the Primor & check back Thursday.
I am keeping my fingers & toes too crossed !
