I am so sorry you have to share this journey with the rest of us. Although my little guy does not have the same kind of cancer as Princess, I have learned that dogs respond well to an "anti-cancer" diet of high protien, good antioxydent carbs and NO grains. Since cancer rages against thier immune system, a healthy diet is key for them to help fight the good fight. From all the research, reading and talking to vets I have done I have learned that dry, processed kibble of any kind is bad. The high heat that is used to create kibble has carcinegetic properties of it's own! The best possible diet for cancer dogs is fresh meats and lightly cooked antioxydent rich vegtables like broccoli, red peppers, cauliflower, tomatoes, brussel sprouts... A lot of people beleive raw meat is best. My dog won't eat raw meat, so I lightly sear it at a low heat. I have to admit, I don't always use fresh veggies, but I found a great product for dogs made by a company called Sojo that contains a dehydrated veggie mix. I buy it at a high end pet store near me but you can also buy it online. I also add probiotics, engymes and calcium powder to the food.
When I give him all his herbs and K9 Immunity I use a bit of Evo canned food.
I hope this helps!
Hugs from us to you!
