Kay, Lucy is lucky to have your friend and you. The oncologist should be able to give you information on pallative care and some here have also consulted holitistic veterenarians for tips on diet, supplements and how to use them. I do know that pallative or preventive care differs from dog to dog, so it is best to contact Lucy's caregivers for that info. Good luck and I am happy to hear that Lucy is holding up. My Rocky also had to recover from the sedation and radiation but is back to his old self.
