Re: [CanineCancer] Doubling up on rad treatments?

After I sent out my email, I got a call from Lucy's doc. Her onc has decided not to double up on treatments as she feels Lucy will benefit best from once daily treatments. Lucy's already doing really well with that method now, I can't even explain to you how little change there is in her behavior. She came home and wanted to play and rolled in the grass and did her usual dog things. She even... *cringe* killed a bird in my back yard about an hour after she came home from radiation last week. She's... so normal that I'm sort of bothered by it, I was expecting some drastic change in behavior, or for her to at least feel sensitive on that side of her face... but nope.

Keep those good thoughts coming and I will try to update more as I have more news. Right now, I'm just relieved that things are finally starting to go our way!
