[CanineCancer] Re: Gastric Cancer & Palladia

Thanks to all for your support. I wish you well in your fight for your best friends as well.

Max has eaten very little for the past two weeks. He was diagnosed July 4th. I am very active in animal welfare, so have had referrals to about five different people besides my traditional vet. It's all so confusing, and of course I'm an emotional train wreck right now.

We are trying holistic care and nutritional supplements as well. So many times vets forget that tehre is a dog attached to the tumor!

Making a trip to a holistic vet this afternoon for an evaluation. The traditional vet wants to put him to rest, but I need to know that I gave him every chance possisble.

It's important to do what is best for him at this time, not for me. I must not make selfish choices and let fear of my anguish over his loss overshadow any suffering he might be going through.
