Re: [CanineCancer] canine cancer blood test

I sent the link to our vet as an FYI and she posted it to VIN, and gave me all of the responses.... and there were quite a few oncologist that responded. The consensus was basically the same as your post. If the test comes back positive, what kind of cancer, and where is it? You can't begin to treat it if you don't know what to treat or where. None of the vets/oncologist said they would recommend it, but one did say they expected a useful test in the foreseeable future... but we aren't there yet.
