Monica has really had quite a history and she sure seems to be able to beat the odds. The luck of the Irish for sure!!! She sounds like a very special girl. The bone biopsy can be tricky. You have to really weigh the risks and benefits. If the bone is already pretty chewed up then you can cause further weakening with the biopsy which can result in fractures. Of course the benefit is that you would know for sure what kind of cancer but your choices are limited anyway so if your treatment plan would be the same then the biopsy isn't really necessary. I know, clear as mud right? I think the big thing with any diagnostic procedure is what are you going to do with the information. I hope Monica does well with whatever treatment you decide on. She really has had a very blessed life. You were both very lucky to have found each other.
