I just got off the phone with the doc.
She's decided that doubling up on radiation treatments was not in Lucy's best interests because of the stress that would place on her and on her family (which would also place stress on her). She is handling the one daily treatment scenario very well, better than anyone could have imagined, so we're just going to keep moving forward with one daily treatment until the middle of August.
This is SUCH a relief!!
Thank you so much! *big, big hugs*
