The oncologist here works at a hospital that is referral ONLY. I do think if I request I referral my vet will give me one (but I will probably have to ask for it).
However the info ob the website for the specialty hospital concerns me a little. It makes it sound like they only do the bare minimum of supplemental services and communicate and rely on the primary vet for a lot of stuff still. I can't copy and paste because the whole site is in Flash. I hope I'm not breaking any board rules by identifying a specific vet or hospital, but I would appreciate opinions on this, or putting my ind at ease or something - their site is http://www.vcavscindy.com/ and the text should be right there (or click 'home'). It would be great if someone had experience with this hospital and the oncologist there.
