I am so sorry to hear this diagnosis. My 11 yr. old golden was diagnosed in January with nasal sarcoma - her tumor is inside her nasal passage so this is slightly different that what you are dealing with.
Unfortunately, until the biopsy results are returned with the type of cancer, the waiting game is unbearable - I know - I just lived through it.
My Zoe had only one option - radiation therapy - 4 weeks - 5x/week - total of 20 treatments. Megadoses of anti-flammatories which she is still taking.
Zoe finished her treatments 3 weeks ago today and we will not have the results of success/non-success until June when she has her CAT scan.
Be sure to explore all options although I don't know how many there are for you. If radiation is an option and you'd like to talk off-line via personal email, feel free to do so.
